Every used vehicle offered by a dealer must display a Buyers Guide in the window. Here's how to read it — and how it fits with our warranty.
The FTC Buyers Guide
The Buyers Guide tells you whether a vehicle is sold "As Is – No Dealer Warranty" or with a warranty, and what that warranty covers. It's part of your sales contract, and it overrides anything in the contract that contradicts it. Keep your copy.
Skook's powertrain warranty and 30-day guarantee
Every vehicle we sell comes with a 3-month/3,000-mile powertrain warranty, a 30-day guarantee that we'll cover the cost of any repairs we may have missed, and a 72-hour money-back guarantee. Ask our team for the coverage details on the specific vehicle you're considering.
Extended service contracts
A service contract adds coverage beyond the included warranty. It can make sense if:
- You plan to keep the vehicle a long time
- An unexpected repair bill would be a real hardship
- The model is known for expensive components (transmissions, turbos, hybrid systems)
You can add a service contract when you buy, or later — even on a vehicle you bought elsewhere. Already have one? Our service center can help apply your coverage to a repair.
Pennsylvania safety inspection
Pennsylvania requires an annual safety inspection, and some counties also require emissions testing. Our service department performs state inspections.
