Most expensive repairs start as cheap maintenance that got skipped. Here's a schedule that's easy to follow.
Every 3,000–5,000 miles (or as your owner's manual says)
- Oil and filter change
- Tire rotation and pressure check
- Quick look at wipers, lights and fluid levels
Every 15,000–30,000 miles
- Engine and cabin air filters
- Brake inspection — pads, rotors and fluid
- Front-end alignment check, especially after a pothole season
Every 30,000–60,000 miles
- Coolant flush
- Transmission service
- Battery test (do it every fall before the cold hits)
Every year
- Pennsylvania state inspection
- Undercarriage rinse after winter to fight road salt
Skook's service center handles all of it — for every driver, not only our customers. Schedule service online.
